"We knew that Cantu is a team that reads the game pretty well. Cantu played great defense and gave us a lot of problems, especially in the first half. Despite the difficulties, we found the faith we needed to be able to win, and we managed to keep fighting despite the struggle and lack of ideas at times on offense. We managed to win, which is the most important thing. There are moments in our game when some players are not at their normal level and that’s something we expect to improve in the next games."

"First of all I would like to give my congratulations to Caja Laboral for this win. The won because they had patience, they waited for their moment to win the game and find their key players, like Mirza Teletovic. We played solid for the first 30 minutes, but our biggest problem is that we didn’t believe in our chances. We did the things right for 35 minutes, we had chances, but our mentality wasn’t the right one in the end. We didn’t do the things we needed to win. They did. We weren’t what we wanted to be, we took wrong decisions and didn’t execute well."

"I’m very happy about this win; I'm very happy for the work the team has done, because it was a very tough contest that required all we had to win. I didn’t win the game alone, the team did a great job on defense in the last quarter, preventing them from scoring. You can always find a guy on this team who can score to win the game – today it was me, but it can be whoever. Cantu is a team with experienced and quality players, they know the game and play smart, always looking for the open man and the extra pass. They play in a very tough domestic competition too, so they are used to fighting hard for 40 minutes. "

"When you play a Euroleague game, you must believe you can win. If you don’t, you lose. The feeling I got tonight is that we didn’t believe in our chances, like we knew already that we were going to lose. We lacked the attitude we had on other days. We stayed in the game for 35 minutes, but lacked concentration in the last five, allowing open shots by key players like Teletovic, something you never should do. Anyway, it’s just one game and we have to learn from this and grow as a team. We need to realize what it takes to win on a court like this, against a team like this. "
