A Uljarevic free throw evened the game before INSEP jumped ahead 5-10. Another Uljarevic free throw pulled Cibona to within 8-11 but a Bazille basket and two Doumbouya free throws pushed the advantage to 7 points at 8-15. Luka Jelinic answered with a three-ball and Uljarevic hit two foul shots as the gap was 13-15. INSEP led 13-17 after 10 minutes then scored the first 7 points of the second quarter with Tchouaffe’s three-pointer making it 13-24. Popic finally scored for Cibona, which didn’t cut into the gap until a 7-0 run to trim it to 24-28. Two free throws from Uljarevic had the deficit down to 26-29 before baskets from Fevrier and Jaylen Hoard made it 26-33. Jankovic brought the margin to 32-34 but INSEP was leading 34-37 at intermission.

Mandic started the scoring in the second half for Cibona, which finally pulled back ahead 40-39 on Ivan Tvrtko Majic basket. The lead changed hands three times and Doumbouya had 5 points and Tchouaffe and Fevrier both knocked down three-balls in a 4-11 run to put INSEP ahead 46-52. Cibona answered with the next 7 points to reclaim the lead but Fevrier’s next three-pointer gave INSEP the lead 53-55 after 30 minutes. Uljarevic pushed Cibona back ahead to start the fourth with a three-ball and Mandic made it 58-55. Tchouaffe evened it with a trey and Fevrier followed with a three-ball as well to go up 58-61. Cibona held INSEP scoreless for the next 4 minutes and used an 8-0 surge to go ahead 66-61 with 3 minutes left. Tchouaffe snapped the run and Fevrier drained another three-ball to pull INSEP to within 68-66. INSEP failed to convert on its next two possessions and Uljarevic’s free throw made it 71-66 with 24 seconds left. After Doumbouya put back an offensive rebound with 5 seconds left to cut it to 3 points, Uljarevic turned the ball over but Tchouaffe missed his three-point attempt to tie the game and Cibona clinched the win.
