Head Coaches

PARKER, TJ
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne
“Slow start, (two) games in one week. It’s not easy but we came out and we know how we win: it’s defensively. So we brought the energy and the players did a good job. It’s game by game. That’s what we’re doing right now. Next up is CSKA Moscow. Just playing basketball.”
KURTINAITIS, RIMAS
Khimki Moscow Region
"We started well, but we received five fouls on some important players. It was good for 35 minutes but not for 40. For sure, Villeurbanne was stronger tonight."

Players

YABUSELE, GUERSCHON
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne
“It’s a pretty good victory. It feels good to win tonight and protect our home court. We came back with a lot of energy in the second half: defense better, offense sharing the ball. And we played together. It was a real team win. And we’re pretty happy about this one. We’re feeling good right now. We just have to go back to the lab and work and get ready for the next team.”
LIGHTY, DAVID
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne
“It’s kind of like how our season has been. The start of the season was kind of how we played in the first half. It was a little sluggish, a little slow. But we knew we had another level. In the second half we showed when we come out and play our brand of basketball that we’re a pretty tough team to beat. We wanted to get these two wins at home to try to get a little momentum. We have a day off tomorrow to rest up. We gotta come back, get a good game plan and be healthy and be ready for a strong CSKA team. You know, we beat them last year here, so we’ll see what happens.”
