Stojanovski shined early in the fourth quarter and a three-pointer by Kostoski tied the game, 62-62, with 6 minutes left. It didn't last long, however, as Nix and Bajramovic fueled a 1-9 run which sealed the outcome, 63-71. MZT Skopje Aerodrom
"The smaller rotation on our team, especially at the playmaker position was our big problem in tonight's game. Aleksandar Kostoski played under huge pressure, and had ups and downs in this game. No matter what, we have to learn to play strong games two times a week. Most of our players are not used to playing at this kind of tempo, and we are paying the price."
BUTAUTAS, RAMUNAS
VEF Riga
"Congratulations to Skopje on a good game tonight, and their fans for a good basketball understanding. We were luckier tonight, but we had control of the game, played good defense, and we made some shots. I’m satisfied with our victory, it was deserved."
