With five players scoring in double figures, Stella Azzurra picked up its second victory of the NIJT Rome tournament and finished in the fifth place. Daniel Donzelli scored 10 of his 11 points in the second quarter and he sparked an 11-1 run that gave Stella Azzurra a double-digit lead midway through that quarter. Salvatore Forte hit a triple as margin reached 16 points before halftime, and hosts never looked back. Andrea La Torre had 19 points, Valerio Cucci and Diego Terenzi scored 11, while Forte collected 10 points, 10 steals and 6 rebounds in victory. Adam Pechaceck had 16 points and 8 rebounds for Virtus Bologna, and Simone Fontecchio netted 13 in defeat.
