Head Coaches

BLATT, DAVID
Dynamo Moscow
"I have to say congratulations to Hemofarm's team, their coach and their organization. They played a great game, and they had to because we did not play a bad one. In a game like this, sometimes great shooting can knock you down, and they brought their A-game when it came to shooting the basketball. They made big shots and made them at big moments. Every time we tried to come back from that, it seemed, they made important, deep shots to keep us behind and chasing. Hemofarm is certainly a quality team and it was certainly a hard game before it started. We knew that and approached it that way. But they made the plays and made the shots and you can only take your hats off to them."
KARADZIC, STEVAN
Hemofarm Stada Vrsac
"First of all I am very satisfied because we won a big game. It was a very tough game for my team. My team is young and this is a big experience for the young players. We had control all during the game. The first, second and third quarters, we had the lead. We had a problem with free throws, because our percentage wasn't good. We had a problem, too, at the start of the third quarter, but after five minutes then, we stayed in control and won what I think is a big victory for us and for our club, Hemofarm. I think both teams that we could face in the semifinals are very strong, but if you ask which I prefer to play, at this moment I prefer to say Benetton. I think we can play easy against Benetton."

Players

HANSEN, TRAVIS
Dynamo Moscow
"Give credit to Hemofarm. They played an excellent game. They were able to penetrate and do things that we didn't want them to do: Find their big guys, find their shooters, who made shots. We didn't play well enough to win tonight, so give credit to them. We needed to be better. We had to stop the penetrations, play better one-on-one defense. Obviously, we had to rebound better as a team. We were prepared, our coach prepared us excellently, but we weren't able to put it together. It's really bad. It was one of our goals that we wanted. We needed all the guys in our team to play well, but we weren't able to do that. We still have the playoffs to play in Russia, and we will focus on that."
NACHBAR, BOSTJAN
Dynamo Moscow
"We are very disappointed. We had high goals coming in here, though we realized that we are going to play tough games, Hemofarm is deservingly here, they proved it today, so that's no surprise. They played a great game. Every time that we got close, they were able to make a couple of defensive stops and make big shots. In the crucial moments, we didn't execute well. Everytime we came close, we missed a shot or made a turnover, and at the other end, they made a shot."
MACVAN, MILAN
Hemofarm Stada Vrsac
"I am very proud of my teammates because we managed to make it to the Eurocup semifinals. I think we shot better than Dynamo tonight and played better defense, which were the keys to this win. We regrouped when Boban [Markanovic] picked up his fourth foul, played as a team and got the win, which is the most important thing. Now I don't have a real preference for our opponent in the semifinal. Maybe Lietuvos Rytas, but it doesn't really matter as long as we keep playing well."
MARJANOVIC, BOBAN
Hemofarm Stada Vrsac
"It was a great win for all of us. We did our best tonight and managed to win the game. Few people expected us to win the game tonight, but this is what we were here for and we showed it tonight. We played good defense, dominated the boards and managed to stay in the competition. As for the opponent in the semifinal, it doesn't really matter. All the teams are good in this Final Eight and all we have to do is to do our best, just like we did tonight, and we'll reach as far as possible."
