Unicaja Malaga
"I have been having good vibrations for a few weeks now. The team has all it needs to do something great - I don't know how to measure it, but we can do something great. We are finding our way as a team. Since allowing 101 against Real Madrid in our first Spanish League game, we have been able to allow 25 points less. As in other years, we are allowing around 76 points per game and that is a starting point which so much talent in our hands. Our players are working together on defense. Being close to the semifinals in each competition would be beautiful and playing finals would be great. Obviously, when you overcome obstacles, you are in the right ay to reach your goals. ALBA is not an easy team to beat, because it defense forces you to turnovers and makes you anxious - especially if you are in the situation that you advanced with a win. We had better percentages than them in all distances and also won in rebounds. We deserved to win the game, we moved on to the next round and grew as a team. Some of my players have to get used to this level. We will play tough, do-or-die game games but the team is growing in the right direction."
