De Colo leads CSKA to road win in Barcelona
In an entertaining battle with more than 30 lead changes and ties, CSKA Moscow went on the road to beat FC Barcelona Lassa 76-84 on Friday. Nando De Colo scored 25 points on a career-high 7-for-10 shooting from three-point range to lead CSKA to a 15-5 record and solidify its third place in the standings. Nikita Kurbanov contributed 17 points in victory. Meanwhile, Barcelona lost its second straight game and dropped to an 11-9 record in the sixth place. Victor Calver scored 17 points and Kevin Seraphin added 14 for the hosts.
Alec Peters and Chris Singleton traded triples to start the game, before 6 points from Kurbanov helped give CSKA a 5-11 cushion. Barcelona replied with a dunk from Claver and a three-pointer from Pau Ribas to tie 13-13. The teams traded blows the rest of the quarter, staying tied 20-20 when it was over. A triple from Kyle Kuric gave Barcelona a 25-23 advantage early in the second quarter. Kyle Hines had a three-point play, but Seraphin scored 6 points in 3 minutes to keep the hosts with a slim advantage. CSKA regained a 34-35 lead after a pair of threes by De Colo, but the lead would change six more times before the half. De Colo's third shot from the arc gave CSKA a 41-44 lead at the break. Back-to-back threes from Claver and Kevin Pangos got Barcelona back ahead after halftime. Claver's 7 points in an 8-0 run opened a 59-50 margin for Barcelona midway through the third quarter. De Colo snapped the run with his fifth triple and then CSKA scored the final 10 points of the quarter as he and Hines assured CSKA a 61-63 edge after three quarters. The counterpunching continued early in the fourth quarter, before De Colo's seventh three-pointer followed by Kurbanov's second pushed CSKA in the clear at 68-73. Rodriguez nailed one jumper and missed another, but Clyburn slammed it back to open a 69-77 gap with 1:37 to go. Kurbanov hit another triple with 60 seconds to go, and then a runner from Rodriguez made sure the victory would go back to Russia.

Barcelona seemed to be taking control, jumping out to its largest lead of the night, 59-50, but CSKA replied with a 2-13 run, which included 2 three-pointers by De Colo, to end the third quarter and take 61-63 lead into the fourth. The visitors never trailed again.

Nando De Colo made a career-best 7 three-point shots, bettering his previous high of 5 triples. De Colo's 7 threes also tied CSKA's club record, a mark previously attained only by Trajan Langdon and Milos Teodosic. De Colo also tied his career high with 10 three-point attempts.
Key contributors
De Colo and Kurbanov combined to score 42 points, and each also grabbed 5 rebounds. In addition to those two, Sergio Rodriguez had 10 points and 7 assists for CSKA, and Will Clyburn collected 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in victory.
