Stanescu tried to change things for the guests but only managed to get the guests within 50-43 midway through the third quarter. Zadar
"I think that this game could be summarized in only a few words. Compliments to the players, and thanks to the audience, because they were the sixth player. The importance is that Zadar is able to win each game on a different way, what makes Zadar one of the hardest teams for scouting. Against every rule, the best game we played at the third quarter when we played without the best player, Corey Brewer, and that shows the quality of the team. I would not agree with Aco only in one thing, because I annulled his technical foul with my technical foul in the moment when my team had the ball possession. At the beginning we had problems with the throughput of the ball, it was obvious that we lacked fresh ideas, but a few minutes later we made the great defense with the zone, which helped us to stay in the game and not to throw too much energy. The moment when we pushed Kazan and limited them to only 9 points in the third quarter, says enough. Still, there is no time to celebrate, at the moment we are in great shape and positive streak, and should make an effort to keep it that way. Things were not looking bright after the comeback from Jerusalem when we lost two players, Stipcevic and Lalic, and lost the game, but after that we took four victories. We are coming back to the ULEB cup, and this is the moment where we have the most chances to advance because I don't think that the next two teams can create us more problems than Turow and Unics. I am glad that the audience recognized that something big can be born here. Of course, we should have a lot of luck, because at the moment there are only seven players in a quality rotation."
PETROVIC, ACO
Unics Kazan
"I have a chance for the first, and hope not the last, time to congratulate the coach that has the same name as I do, Aci Petrovicu for the victory. It is hard for me because I came in this team five days ago, and it is hard to make the new concept that I want, but I think that the team has shown a lot of energy and desire to make what we agreed against Zadar, but we had a lot of holes and empty minutes, especially in the third quarter. I don't agree with my player that the bad opening was crucial for the game, because we took it back later. If we had not made the technical foul I think we would have led the first half. Everything was solved at the time that is usual for those sorts of games. You are in a city of basketball, and now have the coach that leads the time in the magnificent way, and at the same time knows how to control the audience. You were in a great shape, we are just one of the teams that you have conquered. We are turning to the next game, and I can't wait for the pause, and I hope that my team will play better and try to catch the last train to ULEB Cup because the last three games we play at home."

LALIC, JURE
Zadar
"We played another good game, and now we already have a chain of few great games behind. I think we won the game with defense, because we limited Kazan to 64 points which is a success. I would especially like to emphasize the third quarter where they scored only 9 points, and I think it was the key to the victory. We look ahead at another game, Cibona is next, and I would like to thank the audience, they were the sixth player on the court. I hope it is going to be the same way at the last game in Jazine against Budućnost."
SAVANOVIC, DUSKO
Unics Kazan
"What can I say, for a team such as Unics, we did not start the game for the first five minutes, as we should have. We should have taken it stronger and more seriously, and we probably thought that it was going to be easier. I don't know the reason why, because half of the team doesn't know the situation in Zadar, and they don't play here for the first time. For the quality of Unics we should have stronger to open the game. Later Zadar went highly they rotated 7 players, because the home couch didn't have all 12 players on disposal. And we could not reach them any more. Congratulations to the crowd in Zadar, it probably means a lot to them."
