"First of all, I would like to say congratulations to my team for another victory, which is important in this marathon that we have. It is a long, long, long, long process. Obviously, if we get into commenting the game, it is clear that we lacked energy in the beginning of the game. At the same time, we lacked focus and I would say efficiency on open looks. We shot 13% for three-pointers and below 40% for two-pointers with good looks, because everything was created. We have great players, great shooters who couldn't make shots. At halftime, I asked if my players trusted their shooting abilities, because the shots were being created well, because we got open looks and the shots were supported. The good thing in the first half was that we had 9 offensive boards and scored 12 points after that. I said we had to be more flexible on defense and trust our shooting abilities, increasing the rhythm. This happened in the third quarter. The outcome of the third quarter was great, offensively and defensively. The score in the third quarter, 26-10, gave us a boost. At that moment, we missed some good looks, but overall, it was a good a game to see where we are at right now. We have to be ready down the stretch by working all together. We got the message in this game: we have to be smarter and more energetic."

"I believe that we played really good defense and really good basketball in the first half and this is why we were leading at halftime. In the third quarter, we couldn't play the way CSKA did. Defensively we were one step down and offensively we couldn't share the ball. We gave them 9 offensive rebounds and control of the game. We continued to fight in the fourth quarter and came back, but the advantage we gave to CSKA, it wasn't enough. We lost the game, but played as a team for 30-32 minutes, all together. We have to keep the good things, keep working hard and we will get better."

"For sure, it is a good start. It is always better to win, but like we saw tonight, again, the season will be long. It will be a tough season, so we need to be ready for every game. Each game will be important. We just finished the game and are a little bit tired and need to rest. Like I said, the season is long."
HINES, KYLE
CSKA Moscow
"Darussafaka is a good team that came off a good win. For us, coming off to a back-to-back game, sometimes you have to find energy within. Obviously, tonight we lacked a bit of energy, but to our credit, we were able to pull it out, we were able to get stops and make good plays in the third quarter and I think that is important. First, we found ways to win on which was certainly a difficult night. We didn't have our best night shooting, but found a way to win."
