U18 CFBB Paris gave no options to defending champs U18 FC Barcelona Lassa as it took a commanding 85-66 win on Thursday in Istanbul. Barca only managed to resist for the first minutes, but soon Paris took double-digit leads and never looked back. Yanik Blanc led the way with 18 points including 4 of 6 threes, Sofiane Briki added 16, Joel Ayayi 15 and Ivan Fevrier 10. For Barcelona, Sergi Martinez fought back with 19 points, helped by Arnas Velicka and Omar Dieng with 14 each.

Barcelona managed to jump ahead 5-9 but soon, Yanik Blanc started to lead Paris to a 12-0 run. In the second quarter, Paris kept dominating at ease and the difference only got larger by the minute, reaching the 29 points in minute 33. Barcelona struggled from the arc with 4 of 13 threes, while Paris stood at 14 of 29. In the final minutes, Barcelona never quit fighting and managed to trim the difference down to 24 points when Omar Dieng hit a three for 85-61, but there was no way Paris would let go of this win.
