Head Coaches

MENETTI, MASSIMILIANO
Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia
"Tonight our fans helped us a lot to win this game. The atmosphere in the arena was fantastic and we got a great victory. After Trento we really wanted to win, we couldn’t accept easily such a defeat, but beyond that we felt that we had to win tonight and these two things together made it difficult to get the result. We made some mistakes, in particular we reacted too instinctively to their pressing. However I can say that we arrived to this game with the right mental energy and after the break my team played hard, with the right intensity."
SARICA, UFUK
Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir
"It was a tough match. In the first quarter came with the right rhythm. We knew that Reggio Emilia is a strong team, but we prepared very well this game. In the second quarter some turnovers allowed Grissin Bon to return back into the game. "

"Tonight we reached an important victory because we had to react to the defeat we suffered in Trento. The team reacted in the right way, I am very satisfied. The crowd gave us a big hand, it was a difficult game against a team of great value."
WRIGHT, BRACEY
Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir
"It was a tough game, Reggio Emilia is a great team, very hard to beat on their own court. It's impossible to win when you let the other team score 88 points… In the key moments we made too many mistakes and this made the difference."
