The UNICS run continued in the fourth quarter, with Pavel Sergeev's three-pointer knotting it at 60-60 and Smith pushing the hosts ahead 62-60. Simonovic snapped a four-minute scoreless stretch for Olimpija but Smith picked up 5 points and Tyus scored 6 straight in an 15-3 surge to go up 77-65 and decide the game.

Head Coaches

PRIFTIS, DIMITRIS
UNICS Kazan
"Congrats to the guys. We stayed calm when the game looked very negative for us. We kept our composure and continued to play. I think we played alright for most of the game, but we were not effective. And this is something that we must correct."
RIMAC, SLAVEN
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana
"We started the second half with energy, but made some mistakes. UNICS has really quality players and they punished us. For me, the result is not how it looked on the court, basically. We just ran out energy and at the end of the game we were not good."

Players

TYUS, ALEX
UNICS Kazan
"We had a lot of energy. We did a good job on defense, just making it hard for them. It was a collective group effort, everybody played well tonight. And that helped us get the win."
