Kalev Cramo Tallinn pleased its fans with a last Eurocup home win this season by downing MZT Skopje Aerodrom 84-69 in Group G in the Estonian capital on Wednesday. Both teams were out of the Last 32 race before this game. Kalev improved to 2-7 and will be fifth in Group G at the end of the regular season and Skopje dropped to 1-8 and will be sixth. Ty Abbott paced the winners with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Vlad Moldoveanu added 18 points, Tanel Sokk had 13 while Bamba Fall got 10 for Kalev. Stefan Sinovec led Skopje with 12 points. Justin Reynolds added 11 while Cade Davis had 10 for the guests. Abbott and Moldoveanu led a 13-0 run that broke the game for good, 37-22, midway through the second quarter. Kalev boosted its margin to 47-39 at halftime and then again to 71-44 after 29 minutes, enough to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer.

A layup by Ljubomir Mladenovski gave Skopje an early 2-4 lead. Frank Elegar and Fall stepped up for Kalev and a three-pointer by Abbott gave the hosts an 11-6 edge. Fall kept pacing Kalev but free throws by Boban Stajic kept Skopje within 17-14 at the end of the first quarter. Sokk and Moldoveanu hit consecutive jumpers but Reynolds and Mihajlo Arsoski answered for a 21-18 score. Arsoski brought the guests a bit closer, 24-22, but Kalev improved its defense right after that. Moldoveanu and Abbott combined for 9 points in a 13-0 run that broke the game open, 37-22. Abbott stayed unstoppable and back-to-back triples by Moldoveanu made it a 20-point game, 47-27. Sinovec brought Kalev within 47-29 at the break. Sook took over after the break and a layup by Elegar restored a 54-34 Kalev lead. Reynolds and Damjan Stojanovski tried to change things for Skopje but Indrek Kajupank and Rain Veiderman made Kalev boost its margin to 71-47 after 30 minutes. Gorjan Markovski and Sinovec tried to ignite the guests' rally but it was too little, too late for Skopje, as Kalev had already cruised to a well-deserved home win.
