“I’m only happy with certain stretches of the game. We moved the ball around well, we forced the opponent into 21 turnovers and showed a decent defensive performance in the third quarter. But in the last couple minutes, when we had a double digit lead, we let it slip. The result should have been higher.”
OKORN, GASPER
Union Olimpija Ljubljana
“Congrats to Ulm on the win. It was our biggest problem that we were too soft in the first half. We did exactly what Ulm wanted us to do: We opened the court and they used it for easy baskets and open three-point shots. And we had the same problems in the crucial moments of the second half.”

Players

TADDA, KARSTEN
ratiopharm Ulm
“We cannot be happy with that win. Ljubljana didn’t play with their complete roster and we should have won that game by 15 points. Now it will be tough to play the second game in Ljubljana. The button line is that it was still a big win for us.”
JEFFERSON, BRANDON
Union Olimpija Ljubljana
“It was a great game because it was it was a close game. But we had too many turnovers, me included, that killed us. I played here in Ulm last year with Hagen and they embarrassed me. I just wanted to prove that I can play.”
