"The game was physically and psychologically tough. It was somewhat of a Euroleague level. My guys were excited and this had an impact on the game's flow. I can't say we played an excellent game, but I am pleased we won. My players managed to cling together in the crucial moments. We played well defensively and deserved the win. Our tall players were very useful. This win is important for us and it will give us an advantage for the return game in Valencia."

"I congratulate Unics for the win. The game was very difficult for both teams. The last three minutes were key in this game. We made the wrong decisions, and Unics punished us for our mistakes. We had problems with our 2-point shooting. Goudelock was great; it was so difficult to defend against him."
