FRANCO, DANNY
Maccabi Haifa Bazan
"I'm very proud of our team and the character we showed today against a big team from Italy, that has been a champion for a long time. It's a great achievement for our club and the win is a great honor for us. We expect to compete in Siena next week. We know it will be more difficult, but I'm happy today because it can help us for the next game."
CRESPI, MARCO
Montepaschi Siena
"Congratulations to Maccabi Haifa. In the second half they were excellent and had excellent energy. About our appearance, we can completely divide it between the performance in the first and second halves. We were ahead by 4 points in the first half and it was positive and the other half was very negative. This is a difficult moment for us, but you love bad moments in a professional career because that way you can show that you can overcome it because you enjoy the work."

Players

ROTH, MORAN
Maccabi Haifa Bazan
"I missed playing and missed my team. We have a team of men without egos, who fight and play for each other and that's the secret for a successful team. To win against Siena is a great victory as this is a prestigious club. Next week we are going to Siena and hoping we can do it there too. In the first half, we studied them and in the second half we knew that we could win, so we took over and were aggressive. When we run it’s very difficult to stop us."
