"I feel ashamed as probably do the players, because in my worst dreams I could not see us playing the way we did. We failed on basics. We just couldn't pass the ball, get open, box out and organize the game. Organizing the game is the point guards' job and they didn't do it. We knew we would face pressure defense from Turow and we spent 10 days preparing for it, but you saw the results. We had additional trouble with Artur Drozdov, who couldn't play, but he insisted during halftime to step on the court and help his teammates. I am still in shock and of course we need to react now to prepare for the second game and give our maximum. There's always hope, but not if we play the way we did tonight. We were very close at the end during the last 30 seconds to reducing Turow's lead to 6, but made two bad decisions and it is now 12."
