KK Spars earned its debut win in the Diudad de L'Hospitalet tournament on its last game beating the hosting side CB L'Hospitalet 74-65 on Friday afternoon at L'Hospitalet, Spain. The win bestowed KK Spars the seventh spot in the standings while the hosts finished the tournament with four losses in the last place. Nedim Buza collected 17 points, Doko Salic had 16 points and Stefan Glogovac reached 14 points and 8 rebounds. Ricard Verde and Sergi Martinez had 12 points each for the losing side. A second quarter run helped Spars take a 41-30 lead at the break, that later on increased all the way to a maximum of 17, 58-41 in the third quarter. L'Hospitalet cut it all the way down to seven, 64-57 with over six minutes to play but Salic kept his team safe to finish with a good taste.
