Dusko Savanovic scored 11 of his 19 points in the final four minutes as Unics Kazan used a 17-5 final push to book its spot in the ULEB Cup Final Eight with a 74-59 victory over Artland Dragons. Kazan will face either Akasvayu Girona or Hemofarm after collecting a 152-139 aggregate win over the fairytale team Artland, which was making its international debut this season. Darjus Lavrinovic had another tremendous game with 21 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots. Kazan won the game despite not having one starter score in double figures with Dmitry Sokolov and Marko Tusek both tallying 6 points. Tariq Kirksay collected 10 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals off the bench, where Savanovic and Lavrinovic also both started the game. Artland was led by 16 points from Adam Chubb, while John Goldsberry scored 14 points and Leon Rodgers had 11 points and 7 rebounds.

Tusek got the game going for Kazan with a three-pointer, which Rodgers matched for Artland's first score. Rodgers followed that with a three-point play. Another basket by Rodgers and Goldsberry's second score gave the Dragons an early 6-14 lead. After Kirksay finally entered the scoring column, Lavrinovic tallied 4 points and watched Kirksay's three-ball complete an 11-2 Unics run for a 17-16 lead. Goldsberry answered from downtown but Kirksay's next hoop left the game knotted at 19-19 after one period. Darious Hall's foul shot opened the second for the visitors and Savanovic gave Kazan back the lead and back-to-back baskets by Lavrinovic – the second a triple – made it 26-22. Two Terrence Thomas scores left Artland down just 33-31. But Victor Keyru knocked down a three-pointer to start a 7-1 Unics surge to close the first half ahead 40-32.

Chubb started the second half for Artland but two Sokolov baskets kept Kazan up 44-36. The hosts held Dragons at bay and increased the lead to 9 points – 48-39 – on Tusek's foul shots. Lamont McIntosh knocked down a three-ball, Hall scored again and EJ Rowland's basket had the deficit down to 50-46 after three periods. Kazan struck first in the fourth period through Lavrinovic, but Goldsberry answered with a three-pointer to trim it to 52-49. Lavrinovic knocked down his own three and Sergei Chikalkin's basket gave Unics a 57-51 lead with seven minutes to go. Chubb's foul shot trimmed the deficit to 57-54 only to see Savanovic converted a three-point play and grab another basket to push the gap to 64-54 with four minutes to play. Artland playmaker Goldsberry then fouled out and Lavrinovic's next tally made it 66-54. Chubb answered with a three-point play and another basket to make it 67-59. But Savanovic knocked down three more scores as Kazan completed a 17-5 run to finish the game.
