Head Coaches

OBRADOVIC, SASA
Alba Berlin
"Although we were already qualified as first in the group, it was important for us to win the game. I know the Serbian team well as their coach was my coach, too. But such things do not belong on the court. We played in our gym and had the dignity to win. I am happy that we finished first among very good teams in this group. Now we will see what the next round brings."
NIKOLIC, MIROSLAV
Radnicki Kragujevac
"At first I have to congratulate my team for the best result in the European competition in the history of our club although we are out now. We had some close games – especially the first game against ALBA in overtime. But today ALBA played very tough and aggressive defense and a very professional game. They played like they needed to win to advance to the next round like we did."

Players

KENDALL, LEVON
Alba Berlin
"This win was big. It was the first thing coach said before the game: Even though we already had the first place it was important for us to catch the rhythm and help our confidence. You always want to try to win games so that was an important part for us."
MARINOVIC, MARKO
Radnicki Kragujevac
"Coming back to Berlin was not the only motivation for me. It was a do-or-die-game for us, maybe the most important of the season. We lose that and I'm feeling bad that we didn't play better."
