U18 Partizan Belgrade came back from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to beat city rival U18 Zemun Belgrade 81-78 in Group B of the ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Qualifying Tournament - Marko Ivkovic Belgrade. Milos Glisic collected 31 points, 15 rebounds and 11 fouls drawn and led an 18-2 run in the final 4 minutes for Partizan. Nikola Jerotic had 13 points, Ivan Hadzic scored 12 points and Tadija Tadic chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the win. Mateja Todoric led Zemun with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while Pavle Mihajloski picked up 18 points, 4 rebounds and 6 steals and Marko Kosic added 15 points in the loss.

Kosic scored the first basket of the game for Zemun with Gilsic evening it at 2-2. Todoric put Zemun ahead 3-8. Milos Novakovic did knock down a three-pointer for Partizan to make it 6-8 but 4 points from Aleksa Birovljev pushed the lead to 12-18. A basket by Jerotic and a pair of Glisic free throws had Partizan as close as 18-20. But Kosic scored just before the buzzer to keep Zemun up 18-22 after 10 minutes. Jerotic opened the second quarter with a basket and it was 21-22 after a Glisic free throw. Partizan went scoreless for nearly 3 minutes and Aleksa Kojadinovic pushed the Zemun advantage to 21-27. After a Partizan timeout, Glisic scored 4 baskets and couple free throws to push the team ahead for the first time 33-29. And Boris Latinovic made it 35-31. But Partizan was held to just a single free throw over the next 2 minutes and a Todoric triple put Zemun up 36-40. Hadzic answered with a three-ball of his own for Partizan, which trailed 39-40 at intermission.

Hadzic’s free throws opened the second half - and put Partizan back ahead 41-40. Stefan Adzic made it 43-40 before a Kosic basket for Zemun’s first score of the half. Tadic countered with a three-pointer and Hadzic pushed the lead to 50-44. Zemun held Partizan scoreless for nearly 6 minutes and took the lead 50-51 thanks to a Mihajloski three-pointer and break-away layup. A Partizan time out didn’t help as Mihajloski nailed another triple and Todoric’s three-point play made it 50-57. Srecko Gasic ended the drought with a put-back basket for Partizan and Glisic hit a hook shot to make it 54-57 after 30 minutes. Todoric started the fourth quarter with a three-ball and Mihajloski increased the advantage to 54-64. The gap was up to 13 points - 55-68 - after a Kosic put-back and Mihajloski breakaway lay-up with 6 minutes left. Glisic answered with 5 straight points to get the gap down to 60-68. But Nikola Kovacevic and Todoric both knocked down triples for a 63-74 advantage with 4 minutes remaining. Zemun failed to convert on its next 4 possessions and Partizan knotted the game 74-74 on Glisic’s three-pointer. Tadic picked up a steal and converted to put Partizan ahead 78-76 with 51 seconds to play and Glisic hit a hook shot with 15 seconds for a four-point lead - deciding the contest.
