Tomas Dimsa - IJT Zalgiris KaunasZalgiris Kaunas cruised to a 67-102 victory over Topsportschool VBL to improve to 2-0 and clinch first place in Group A of the Nike International Junior Tournament classification event in Kaunas, Lithuania. Tomas Dimsa scored 21 points and Lukas Lekavicius added 17 points and 5 assists to pace the hometown team, which clinched a spot in the tournament final on Sunday. Topsportschool kept it close for much of the first quarter, but six different Zalgiris players scored in 0-14 run that bridged the first and second quarters to make it 11-29 and Topsportschool never seriously threatened again. Justas Tamulis added 15 points and Rokas Gustys 10, while Simas Raupys hauled 12 rebounds for the winners. Stijn Steven scored 17 points, Naim El Khounchar added 13 and Sam Hemeleers 10 for the Belgian side in defeat. The loss knocked Topsportschool to 1-1.
