Head Coaches

SAGADIN, ZMAGOSLAV
Union Olimpija
"Even though we could only prepare this game for a couple days it was crucial to us and we won it, which boosts us to work even more. In the Euroleague you can only win with an aggressive defense. The final difference is too much for what was seen on court. In the last minutes my players were very nervous but we finished it off well. Now a lot of work is ahead of us because we have lost nothing yet. With a series of wins we can aspire to the Top 16."
KAKIOUSIS, ELEFTHERIOS
AEK Athens
"We had the opportunity to win, but in the last quarter we left too much space to Olimpija players which they punished with a couple of triples. Our concentration was not at a desirable level in the decisive moments."

Players

EVTIMOV, VASSIL
Union Olimpija
"Thanks to our fans. They have demonstrated that they are with the club in the toughest moments. It is a very important win from a psychological point of view as the series of losses affected our morale."
DROBNJAK, DRAGISA
Union Olimpija
"The kids started to play on defense and we all could see the result. It is a very important win for everybody because now we all know we can advance thanks to hard work."
PANTELIADIS, SPYRIDON
AEK Athens
"The home team showed more will for the win than we did. It was a balanced game and when you get to that situation in the last minutes, the host has the advantage. We didn't know how to stop Olimpija's outside shooting in the last quarter."
RIMAC, SLAVEN
AEK Athens
"We deserved to lose as we didn't play good defense in the last quarter. I wish Olimpija all the best for the future."
