Anadolu Efes Istanbul
“We won a very well deserved game against a tough team like Real Madrid. We showed our desire to win the game from the beginning until the end. Our opponent was the best in scoring average and the number of the assists, but also with its excellent shooters. We paid attention to their scorers most of the game in defense. We forced them to make 7 turnovers and just 7 assists in the first half. Lack of experience and the injury of Dontaye Draper was the reason we were caught by Real Madrid. Bu in the last possession we managed to win with a divine force.”
LASO, PABLO
Real Madrid
“Congratulations to Anadolu Efes for their win. Anadolu Efes was always a step ahead all through the game. We had to follow them for most of the game. It was a very tough game. The team that made the best shots in the crunch time won the game. Unfortunately we couldn’t do it well. Cedi Osman scored a very critical thre- pointer in the crunch time. And the defensive boards that we allowed decided the game.”
