U18 Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade picked up its second victory in two games in Group A of the ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Qualifying Tournament - Marko Ivkovic Belgrade with a 104-67 blowout of U18 Spars Sarajevo. Stefan Dordevic led the way with 22 points and 15 rebounds while Borisa Simanic and Ivan Corovic both scored 18 points as Zvezda improved to 2-0 in the group. Petar Rebic added 14 points and Aleksa Uskokovic chipped in 6 points, 8 assists and 5 steals in the victory. Spars dropped to 1-1 in the group despite 22 points from Sani Campara while Aleksa Stepanovic had 12 points and 8 rebounds and Sabahudin Jahic added 12 points in the defeat.

Simanic opened the game with a three-point play with Campara answering with a three-pointer. Aleksa Radanov made it 7-3 but Campara nailed 2 more long balls as the game was knotted at 9-9. After Stepanovic tied it at 12-12, Zvezda scored 5 straight points to lead 17-12. Sandro Antunovic put back an offensive rebound for Spars and a Stepanovic triple evened the game again at 19-19. Another Stepanovic basket tied it again and Srdan Kocic gave Spars its first lead at 21-23. Zvezda tallied the next 4 points and was leading 27-25 after 10 minutes. Spars failed to score in the first 2 minutes of the second quarter and Rebic scored 5 points as Zvezda went up 34-25. Kocic finally got Spars on the board and Campara cut the gap to 34-29. Simanic and Radanov both hit triples at the other end in a 10-2 run, growing the cushion to 44-31. Campara answered with a three-pointer and an assist to bring Spars to within 44-36. Dordevic came back with 4 straight points and the Zvezda advantage was 52-41 at intermission.

Jahic started the second half with a pair of baskets for Spars and Amar Gegic made it 54-47. Matija Radovic answered with a three-ball and a Rebic long ball had Zvezda up 64-49. The host side followed with a 13-0 run with two more Rebic three-pointers to surge ahead 77-51. Sandro Antunovic ended the drought but Uskokovic increased to lead to 28 points. The Zvezda advantage was 83-56 after 30 minutes. Simanic began the fourth quarter with a triple and Stefan Momirov also hit from long range to push the margin to 89-58. Stepanovic scored for Spars at the other end but Corovic tallied 7 straight points in a 7-1 spurt to put Zvezda up 96-61 with four minutes to play. Spars did not get closer than 31 points the rest of the way.
