Paf Bologna suffered its first defeat in the Euroleague against Peristeri after an excellent second half by the Greeks, who employed better tactics. In the last two minutes, the team from Bologna tried to change the score through repeated fouling, but the home team kept its cool and didn't miss the free throws. A three-pointer at the buzzer by Pelakanos was the final stroke that made it clear which was the better team on the court tonight.
