Crvena Zvezda Telekom went 2-0 in the NIJT Belgrade competition on Friday evening, sending De’Longhi Treviso Basket to its second consecutive defeat in the process. The heavy 92-50 was another example of Zvezda going on the offensive early and putting itself into a strong position, as it did earlier Friday. Although the scoreboard was tied 10-10 early, Zvezda reeled off the next 15 unanswered points to lead 25-10 after one quarter. A high-scoring second period, in which Marko Guduric, Nikola Rebic and Dusan Ristic moved into double digits for Zvezda, blew up the advantage before halftime. With a comfortable 58-31 lead, Zvezda was in a strong position at the break, dominating on rebounds and shooting at 75% from inside to Treviso's 25%. Although Treviso won the third quarter, Zvezda had an emphatic dominance in the fourth, outscoring the guests 19-3. Marko Guduric led Zvezda in scoring with 15 points while Dusan Ristic had 14 points and 9 rebounds, Nikola Rebic 13 points, Brano Djukanovic 11 and Djordje Kaplanovic 10. For Treviso, only Dorde Malbasa and Michael Luis broke into double-digits, with 13 points apiece.
