Head Coaches

MACHOWSKI, SEBASTIAN
EWE Baskets Oldenburg
" I am happy with the fact that we won today. The victory is crucial for our positioning in the group and it was important to get this win at home, since we lost badly against Sassari in our first home outing. Still we didn’t play consistent enough. There were times when we were dominant defensively and other times where we moved the ball very well. But we didn’t follow our game plan the whole time and allowed the opponent far too many easy points. It is good though to have the team show character and poise when it matters and to come back from behind in the fourth quarter. "
REPESA, JASMIN
Cedevita Zagreb
"We had two chances to win the game: We got the last shot in regulation and in overtime. We missed these chances. It is tough losing such a close game, when we just weren’t able to close the game out. We have a very young team, but if offered these chances, we have to take them, especially on the road."

Players

PAULDING, RICKEY
EWE Baskets Oldenburg
"It was a good win for us. It was a bit too close for our comfort, but we kept battling and kept our spirits up and that’s what brought us this win in the end. Zagreb was a good team, they hit some tough shots and we had our hands full getting back into the game."
SMITH, NOLAN
Cedevita Zagreb
"We made too many mistakes in crucial situations. The game was back and forth the whole time and both teams had chances to win it. It speaks for us that we were right up there with Oldenburg. But as a young team you have to make more of these chances on the road. We spent much energy and leave with nothing."
