Head Coaches

ALONSO, SITO
DKV Joventut
"Today is a day to enjoy and take some air in the Eurocup. We managed to do some things that we had not been accomplishing in the last games, and the young players were stellar, especially Pere Tomas. We must not think this was an easy game as Besiktas is only second behind Efes Pilsen. Lonny Baxter has not played at his usual level against us, and they also missed a key player like Brad Newley. We worked throughout the 40 minutes and together with the support of the fans, we managed to pull a good win."
BIYIKTAY, BURAK
Besiktas ColaTurka
"I want to congratulate DKV Joventut because they played a great game, with good defense and accuracy in offense. We didn't play at our level in defense and we missed Brad Newley. Joventut knew how to impose its law in the paint, where Bueno was a key man in the first quarter. We scored more than them in the final minutes, but the game was already broken open."

"We took the step forward we needed to take, not only with our game, but also with the result. I want to highlight our good defense during the first half. That marked the outcome of the game. Being already in the Last 16 in the way we did tonight leaves you satisfied. But our goal is to keep working now to become a better team."
