Head Coaches

KARASEV, VASILY
BC Triumph Lyubertsy
"We all are very glad to win this game and to be first in the group. This was a tough win because of our defeat in the last game against Enisey. Le Mans is a very strong team, and it was a difficult game for us. We were fresh at the beginning, but in the second game half we felt a little bit tired. I’m glad that my team fought till the end and won. We didn’t let Le Mans tie the score, we kept the 10-point difference."
JACKSON, JD
Le Mans Sarthe Basket
"Now we have to beat Riga next week, it’ll be the most important game for us to qualify to the Last 16. We wanted to play, but we lost 15 points in the first quarter, but we played very poor transition defense, we had to fight back. But it was too late. We are very disappointed. "

Players

McKEE, TYWAIN
BC Triumph Lyubertsy
"It was a tough game, but we played hard, like a team. We played four games in a row at home, and today we wanted to win for our fans, even though felt a little bit tired physically. And we came back in the second half, when they tied the score, but we controlled the game. "
ISSA, DOUNIA
Le Mans Sarthe Basket
"We were a little bit soft at the beginning. Triumph played at a very good speed with a very aggressive defense. But we knew that Triumph is a strong team, and I think that mentally we were not ready to play the game. In the second half we executed very well, we tried to tie the score, but we let key players of Triumph like Karasev and Landry make easy shots."
