Conklin downed a turnaround jumper soon after the break. Warren improved on Blazic's layup with a three-point play, but Brown restored a 44-33 Olimpija lead. Hopkins and Perry stepped up for the hosts, however, Conklin brought Nanterre within 48-37. Hopkins dunked, but Fevrier and Warren combined for all the points in a 0-6 run that caused Olimpija to stop the game at 50-43. Hodzic struck from downtown and Hopkins added a three-point play. Victor Wembanyama and Conklin answered to make it 58-48. Three-pointers by Muric and Fevrier - from midcourt at the buzzer - fixed the score at 61-51 after 30 minutes. Marinkovic banked in a jump hook early in the fourth quarter and Muric added a triple that broke the game open, 66-51. Fevrier sank his fifth shot from downtown, but Marinkovic and Jones kept Olimpija way ahead, 70-56. Wembanyama provided a highlight with an alley-oop slam before Jones and Perry sealed the outcome, 74-58, with 3 minutes remaining.

Head Coaches

GOLEMAC, JURICA
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana

"Congratulations to the guys for the win. We played again after two weeks and were a little bit confused, the ball didn't go how we wanted, but in the end, Nanterre came without a couple of players and they didn't have anything to lose. In the end, we controlled the rebounds and that is what brought us the win. We need to grow up and be better, day by day."

LE GOFF, FRANCK

Assistant Coach Nanterre 92

"It was not easy for us because you know our situation. We came here without four important players of the team and also without the coach. But if before the game you told me we would lose by 12, I would be happy. Everybody gave 100%, it is good, and the young players, because I had four U20 players, grew up and it was a good experience for them. We didn't have injuries and come back home with our eight players. It was the goal tonight, but I am proud of my team tonight."

Players

BROWN, RION
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana
"I think we had some good energy in the second and a little bit of the third quarter. We had enough to win the game, but I don't think it was necessarily a good game for us. We still have a lot of work to do, but I am definitely happy with the win. You have to take care of your home court, no matter if it is an ugly game or a good one."
PERRY, KENDRICK
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana
"It was a tough battle. We knew they were short-handed, but this is a tough team. We knew that we were going to get their best shot. We had to get back to what made us successful in the past, and that's rebounding, playing defense, playing together, sharing the ball... I think we did a very good job at that tonight."
FEVRIER, IVAN
Nanterre 92
"We had a good start at the beginning, but in the second half, we gave up a little bit. Our biggest mistakes were rebounds - offensive rebounds. We need to improve on this."
