Head Coaches

JOVOVIC, IGOR
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica
"Congratulations to Lokomotiv on this well-deserved victory. Besides being a very strong opponent, this match was difficult because of the game that we had in Belgrade against Crvena Zveza. We couldn’t, not physically, not emotionally, recover for such a good opponent. In the first half, we played a completely fair game, but we made mistakes in that period, too. We hadn’t good defense against their transition game, and we allowed them offensive rebounds. In the third quarter we were completely empty. I tried with a lot of rotations to find willing players, but did not succeed."
BAZAREVICH, SERGEY
Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar
"We were worried on the eve of this game, especially because of the previous trips to Krasnoyarsk. In Russia, traveling is not easy. We played badly on offense, but we had good defense in the second half. Delaney has missed four games, Miles did not play in the last game, so it was a big question how we would play tonight. Balashov had an excellent 12 minutes and he helped us a lot to get to this victory. "

Players

SUBOTIC, BOJAN
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica
"Objectively, Lokomotiv is one of the better teams in the Eurocup. I think we did not play bad, we had great desire. However, we missed some shots, which they used. We turn to the coming matches, because we have little time to prepare for the game against Mega Vizura in the ABA league, which is very important for us. I hope that the fans will come to help us."
BALASHOV, NIKITA
Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar
" We knew this would be a tough game. Especially after a long trip to Krasnoyarsk. We started badly tonight, especially in defense. When we fixed that part of the game, we came to counter attacks and easy points. That was the key to victory."
