When you hear that Scaligieri Verona scores 102 points in one game, as it did in beating Group D rival PAOK on Wednesday, the next thing you have to wonder is how many points were scored by Henry Williams and his American teammate Louis Bullock, the team's top scorers.

It will come as a surprise to hear that each American had just 12 points, combining for just 20% of the Italian offensive outcome. So, Philippo Faina, Verona's coach, had one more reason to be happy about his team's 102-88 win over PAOK: the fact that he had a lof of double-digit scorers and some of them are not the main weapons.

For example Casey Schmitt, who scored 20 points, seemed that he was waiting to take his own revenge from PAOK. Two summers ago he came to Thessaloniki, had an unsuccessful try-out and waited for 28 months to prove to PAOK's people that they were wrong.

The Greek team had the control of the game until the 14th minute, leading 32-33 when Sigalas commited his 3rd personal foul. The PAOK defense collapsed and in less than two minutes Verona scored 10 unanswered points to go up 42-33. That partial stretched to a 21-5 overall advantage and Verona finished the first half with a very strong lead of 53-38.

The last 20 minutes were more or less a show-off for Verona and a nightmare for PAOK. The Greek team didn't seem to have the strength or the alternatives (Blair, Weiss and Koronios were missing) to try to come back. Liadelis and Giannoulis were producing but they were not enough and the margin every second was getting higher until it reached 31 points (80-49) in the 28th minute.

So, considering its injury problems and bad luck in this game, it's easy to understand that PAOK could fly back to Thessaloniki feeling that at least it had made the score look good by cutting the final margin to 14 (102-88)
