"Our opponents are a strong team with good shooters in their roster. Before this round, Trabzonspor topped the group. Therefore we took serious preparations before this match, analyzed thoroughly our opponents and the way we played. Our task was to destroy the opponents' chemistry and make them play man to man. We managed to do to this in the fourth quarter, 26-14. The plan proved itself. We had a good rotation today with nine experienced players. We were good offensively and moved the ball fast, thus creating opportunity to make easy shots. Over the course of the match, we improved our the game, but I am sure we have to work hard to be competitive with other opponents and improve on the way we are playing."

"I congratulate Unics for this win. I cannot say I am satisfied with the way we played for three quarters, because we did not control the game's rhythm. We lost the last quarter. Unics did not do something special, while we let them score easy baskets; we were not aggressive enough on offense and we did not make good decisions in defense. It was not easy to play against Langford today. We tried to play Hardy and Kinsey, and all the guards we had, but he played a good game."
