The closing game of Day 3 in the Nike Internaiotnal Junior Tournament featured a Group B clash between Cajasol and Union Olimpija, in which Cajasol wrote its debut win in the tournament, 77-66 on a Saturday afternoon clash in Paris, France. Cajasol was already eliminated but fought to avoid a winless record, while Olimpija needed an extremely big win to exploit the result from the parallel game and take a three-way tie with Zalgiris and INSEP. The final score bestowed Cajasol a 1-2 record and the 3rd place in the group, while Olimpija dropped to the last spot with a matching record. The one to enjoy this win were INSEP who earned the ticket to the grand final game on Sunday in the main court of the Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy. Pape Amadou made 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners who saw also 20 points from Pablo Villarejo. Olimpija earned 15 points from Klemen Prepelic and 13 by Jure Gabrovsek.

Amadou had a good start on offense, and his three pointer wrote a 15-8 lead for Cajasol. Jan Span and Filip Petrovic led Olimpija back to a 17-17 tie, and a three pointer followed with a lay up by Gabrovsek wrote a created a 21-26 Olimpija lead. Amadou combined 5 points in a row, and Villarejo scored inside the arc, to put Cajasol back on top with a 34-33 half time lead. Villarejo started the 2nd half with a three pointer, and Amadou continued to dominate around the rim but Olimpija stayed not too far behind. Span wrote a three point play to cut the difference to only 3, but then saw great team play by Cajasol which answered with back-to-back three point shots to take a 61-52 lead with 7 minutes to play. Petrovic answered from the arc and Gabrovsek followed to make it just 3 again, but Villarejo took over and with 5 points in a row, pushed the margin back to 8, 69-61. Olimpija tried to force things, only to witness Villarejo hit another shot from distance, to create the first double-digit lead in the game, and that was enough to silence Olimpija and send INSEP to play for the gold.
