Head Coaches

POR, PETER
Szolnoki Olaj
"Since I took over as a coach, this was the first game that we played the way I want the team to play. My philosophy starts with good defense, we did that today. If the players are committed and willing to fight, we can carve out results. We played as a unit, the win was a real team effort. "
GREENBERG, BRAD
Avtodor Saratov
"It was a tough game, Szolnok played very physically and shot very well all match. We made two comebacks during the second half, tied the game twice, but in the last minute we could not play what we wanted. It is a pity because we had a chance to win, even without three key injured players. We came here shorthanded, but that is not an excuse. Congratulations to Szolnok.”

Players

VOJVODA, DAVID
Szolnoki Olaj
"This victory was very important for us, probably a milestone for the team. We was focused for almost 40 minutes, defended well and showed that we can play this way as well. Thanks to the fans, who turned out today and cheered us, we hope they come in numbers in the future. If we can beat PAOK next week, we still have a slight chance to qualify for the next round."
PETERSON, TRAVIS
Avtodor Saratov
"Szolnok played well and shot the ball remarkably. In the second half we found our plays and rhythm and came back to level the scores, but at the end we turned the ball over too many times. "
