"We started the game very well and kept the pace. We experienced an unbelievable fall in the second period and we gave the rhythm to the opponent. After this quarter, we became the following. We still brought the game to the point of winning, but failed."
MITROVIC, ZVEZDAN
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne
"First of all, congratulations to my team and also to Turk Telekom for, I think, a good performance tonight. It was a very important game for both teams and they started the game very motivated. Turk Telekom really played perfect on offense in the first quarter, scoring the opening 4 three-point shots and finishing that quarter 5 of 8. My team woke up in the second quarter, started to play aggressive defense and better basketball. We played good defense from the second quarter until the end of the game and that made our offense much better. We scored some transition points and I think we deserved to win the game tonight. We started to play more aggressive on the board and put pressure on the ball in halfcourt. We had problems at the start of the game because they shared the ball well, hitting three-point shots. They scored some tough shots, but played some good pick-and-roll with Stimac. When we started to put pressure on the ball on halfcourt, we started to play much better."

Players

"We started the game bad, they scored like 5 three-point shots in the first quarter. It was tough, they got a 10-point difference but we won the second quarter 13-29. We came back to the game and kept the lead until the end of the game. I don't like to talk about myself. I am just happy that we won, and it was a tough game. It is a very, very important win."
