Win improves Nymburk to 2-3 in a sole possession of the fourth place in Group A, while Artland drops to 1-4. The Czech champion scored 12 consecutive points during a 17-3 spurt to end the second quarter and build 43-31 halftime lead. Artland regained the lead by opening the second half with a 0-13 run, however, Nymburk paced by Dylan Page and Jiri Welsch bridged the third and fourth quarter with an 11-0 spurt, pulling away for good. Page led the winners with 24 points plus 7 rebounds, while Welsch dished out career-high 11 assists, along with 6 points and 6 rebounds. Vojtech Hruban netted 16, Tre Simmons had 13, and Radoslav Rancik 12 points for Nymburk. Michael Wenzl and Brandon Thomas scored 16 apiece for the visitors, and David Holston netter 12 in defeat.

Wenzl and Thomas got Artland to a good start, combining to score 15 points for 11-17 lead. Rancik started off by making 9 of the hosts' 11 points, before Simmons nailed a triple, and Hruban had a jumper and a fastbreak layup, cutting it to 20-23 after the first quarter. Holston hit a triple for the visitors in the beginning of the second, but Page and Jiri Welsch sparked Nymburk's run before Hruban's fastbreak layup gave the hosts their first lead, 30-28. Simmons contributed with a jumper and a triple in a 12-0 spurt, and Thomas Massamba closed out the half from long range just before halftime, extending it to 43-31 at the break. At the start of the third quarter, Thomas and Holston fueled a big run for the visitors to re-take the lead, as Holston’s three-pointer gave Artland 43-44. But a fastbreak layup from Page, and a three-pointer from Hruban put the hosts back in front, and consecutive layups by Page, Hruban and Massamba gave them 54-48 after three quarters. Page capped an 11-0 run at the start of the fourth with a layup and a triple, making it 59-48. After Simmons and Lawrence Hill traded three-pointers, Page nailed couple more from downtown for 72-59. With help from Rasid Mahalbasic and Welsch, Nymburk pulled away to 78-62, before closing out the game.

"Before the game our situation was really tough because of our physical and mental fatigue. We have lost some really close games. So it was not easy, but I´m proud of our guys that they were able to stay focused and demonstrate the good game and team spirit during most of the game. That gave us an important win that we needed very much."
McCOY, TYRON

"First of all I would like to congratulate Nymburk. Their players did an excellent job. For us, it was a thoughtful, difficult game to start with. We were kind of undermanned, we were missing two of our last starting five men, and backup five man. We tried to play different style of basketball. We tried to press and play more of zone, but Nymburk team did a very good job with handling those two things. At the beginning of the game we ruled the court but the rest of the 40 minutes opponent players were able to handle our press and our zone. They found the rhythm and made some shots."
