Euroleague Basketball mourns Rasmus Larsen
Euroleague Basketball joins the basketball community in expressing condolences at the passing of Belgacom Spirou Charleroi center Rasmus Larsen at the early age of 20. Larsen was found dead in his home on Wednesday. A promising big man, Larsen played the 2011-12 U18 Tournament in Kaunas with Vaerlose BBK of his native Denmark and averaged 6.3 points in three games. Larsen played for Sant Nicolau Sabadell and La Bruixa d'Or Manresa before joining Spirou last season. Euroleague Basketball has declared that a moment of silence be observed before each 2015 EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT game on Thursday in honor of Larsen.
